Data Methodology

Monday Robotics is an independent data publisher. This page explains how we collect, verify, and maintain agricultural robot pricing and specification data — and what we will never do.

Data Sources

We gather robot pricing and specification data from the following source types, ranked by reliability:

  1. Manufacturer official pricing pages — the authoritative source whenever publicly available.
  2. Authorised dealer listings — verifiable dealer quotes or published price sheets from certified distributors.
  3. Trade press announcements — pricing disclosed in press releases, trade publications (Farm Journal, Precision Ag, AgFunder News), or conference proceedings.
  4. Manufacturer contact — direct outreach to manufacturer sales teams. Responses are logged with date and contact name.
  5. Industry analyst estimates — published estimates from credible research firms, used only when no public price exists and labeled accordingly.

We do not use crowdsourced or unverified forum data as a source. When no verified price exists, we display "Contact for pricing" rather than guess.

Verification Tiers

Every robot entry carries a verification badge. Here is what each tier means:

Manufacturer confirmed

Price has been confirmed directly with the manufacturer or from their official website within the past 12 months. This is our highest confidence tier.

Dealer listing

Price sourced from an authorised dealer listing or price sheet. Prices may vary by region or volume. Verified within 12 months.

Estimate

No public price is available. We show an industry analyst estimate or range from trade press. Always labeled as an estimate — never presented as a firm price.

Unverified

We have not been able to verify pricing through any of our standard sources. The robot is listed for informational completeness. No price is shown.

Confidence Levels

Alongside the verification badge, each entry carries a data-confidence score shown as filled dots (● ● ●).

High (● ● ●)

Multiple independent sources confirm the data. Price and specs have been cross-referenced across at least two source types. Suitable for budget planning and public citation.

Medium (● ● ○)

Data confirmed through a single reliable source. Figures are likely accurate but have not been independently cross-referenced. Suitable for general comparison.

Low (● ○ ○)

Data is from a single source or is an estimate. Treat as directional only. We recommend direct contact with the manufacturer before any purchasing decision.

Update Frequency

Scheduled review: All verified listings are reviewed on a quarterly basis (January, April, July, October). We re-check manufacturer websites and dealer listings during each cycle. The "Verified" date on each listing reflects the most recent confirmation.

Event-driven updates: We update immediately when a manufacturer announces a price change, product launch, or discontinuation. We monitor trade press, manufacturer RSS feeds, and press release wires daily.

Community corrections: Any visitor can submit a correction via the "Report an update" button on each robot page. Corrections are reviewed within 5 business days and credited when published.

The priceLastVerified date displayed on each listing is the date we last confirmed that price was still accurate — not the date the robot was first added to our database.

Editorial Independence

What we will never do:

  • Accept payment to change a robot's ranking, score, or position in search results
  • Display a manufacturer's robot more prominently in exchange for money (unless clearly labeled as a sponsored listing)
  • Remove a negative data point — such as a discontinued status or a company shutdown — because a manufacturer requests it
  • Publish a price we cannot verify and present it as confirmed
  • Allow an advertiser relationship to influence editorial coverage, comparisons, or statistics

Sponsored listings: Manufacturers can pay for a "Sponsored" badge that places their listing at the top of the robot directory. Sponsored placements are clearly labeled. They have no effect on price data, verification status, comparison results, or statistics.

Advertising: Monday Robotics may display banner advertising or newsletter sponsorships. Advertisers have no access to editorial functions, data, or rankings.

Revenue model: We generate revenue through sponsored directory listings, lead generation for verified manufacturers, and newsletter sponsorships. None of these revenue streams influence data accuracy or editorial coverage.

Corrections & Contact

We take data accuracy seriously and welcome corrections from manufacturers, dealers, and industry experts.

To report an error, use the "Report an update" button on any robot or company page. Please include a source URL whenever possible — corrections with verifiable sources are processed first.
